Vendor confirmation required Consumer messaging tools (such as Zoom, WhatsApp, or FaceTime) are not advertised as HIPAA compliant unless the clinic has confirmed the specific healthcare or enterprise version, that appropriate privacy and security settings are enabled, and that a Business Associate Agreement is in place where required.
